The Dusty Brothers: Love Trapeze
The Dusty Brothers

“The Dusty Brothers” family tree began when Nicholas Kargacin and Dan Roth crossed paths at a Webster University music history class in the fall of 2007.  By that time both had made a name for themselves in the original music scene around St. Louis with their groups “Great White Buffalo” and “Crescent Moon Connection”.  After their first official jam picking on dusty old tunes in the likes of New Riders of the Purple Sage, Allman Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Flatt & Scruggs, and originals of their own there was no doubt that this musical chemistry could not be matched.  Nick and Dan began playing duo shows just two weeks later!  Soon they added other Webster U. music students Pat Enberg on upright bass, known for his untamed stage presence, and A.J. Martka (a.k.a the chef) fresh out of L.A. Music Academy and The Dusty Brothers were born!  The Dusty Brothers began drawing people in with their catchy original tunes, intricate guitar arrangements, and lush vocal harmonies.  Incorporating true bluegrass sounds with banjo and slide guitar, “The Dusty Brothers” breed a genuine style of music with heartfelt lyrics that is hard to find these days.  Before they knew, The Dusty Brothers were playing top name venues around town including Blueberry Hill, The Old Rock House, Beale on Broadway, The Pageant, Broadway Oyster Bar, Highway 61 Roadhouse and more.  The journey continues today with the much awaited release of “The Dusty Brothers” self-titled album this Christmas 2010.
